From That Moment by Carrie Ann Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Carrie Ann Ryan is only one of a handful of writers that can write great romance books whether it is the wolf series of Redwood Pack Box Set 3; Dante’s Circle Box Set of witches and dragons. To the interlinking Montgomery Ink Montgomery Ink Box Set 2 series. Where now the Promise Me Series is a spin of from.
From That Moment is a brilliantly written 2nd book in the series — the storyline is superb and the story of Paris and Prior flows really well. The Promise Me series is about a group of woman who have made a pack to help each other find a man. Forever Only Once was the first book in the series featuring Cross and Hazel and now Paris’s friends are set on finding her a man. Only trouble is the blind dates she has been on so far have been a disaster!
Prior is the brother of Cross so has known Paris for a while. Paris and Prior have always butted heads and now he is working for her it is even more difficult. Prior does have a girlfriend at the start of the book but there is no cheating.
I must admit I feel in love with Paris – she is a strong woman working in a mans world putting up with a lot of crap from her co-workers; she has had a really awful childhood one that nightmares are made of — this she keeps to her self and locks that part of her past away, but when the past and present collide Prior is the one that is their to pick up of the pieces.
Their is great chemistry between the two but the story starts of with two people that disliked each learning about each other and becoming friends first. I just loved that element of the story.
Well, done Carrie Ann Ryan for a another great story – I can’t wait for the next one!
