Reckless Rebel by T.C. Matson
Star Rating – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘Reckless Rebel’ OMG what a book what a story. I haven’t read anything as gut wrenching emotional charged in forever. T. C. Matson has put together one hell of a heartfelt pull at your heartstrings romance.
This story has gone straight to my no 1 spot in my Fav Fav reading shelve and must read of 2020. I suggest you keep a box of tissues handy you will need them.
Asher and Kinlyn have both had a tragic past; completely different tragedies but with the same result; one alway’s feeling not good enough even though they give it their all and one that still gets plague by darkness. Ash deals with his by not letting people in except for the kids from the programme where he volunteers. These kids come from all walks of live, broken homes, foster care and parents just struggling to make ends meet. Ash’s fav boys are Ollie 10 and teenager Cody ( I dare you not to fall in love with these boys).
Kinlyn has had enough of never feeling good enough when she finds out her boyfriend is cheating yet again she goes to confront him — but when her nerve leaves her a kiss by stranger outside the restaurant was just the inspiration she needed.
Ash can’t forget the kiss he gave the shy stranger and when their paths cross again he can’t believe his luck. But that is where the push and pull and the past starts to merge and before these two can have any future they need to open up to each other to the pain of their past — and while Kinlyn is at least trying Ash doesn’t seem to be able to let the past go.
But as a wish friend of Ash’s says:-

Heartless Bastard by Tonya Brooks
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tonya Brooks has pulled the rug from under my feet with this remarkable story of lost love and 2nd chances.
I can honestly say I didn’t see the ending coming in this book so engrossed in the intriguing story of Ford and Callie, the twist the turns the deceit that the ending was just WOW!
Ford has been intrigued with Callie since he first saw her a year ago — but everytime he gets close she blows him of. Bidding on her a charity auction is the only way that he can get a date with her but even that is proving to be difficult. If only he could understand why or what he did wrong. Did they know each other years ago – a car crush 10 years ago has robbed Ford of his memory leading up to the crush and when Callie finally gives in and goes on that date well everything becomes clear to her (No spolier here).
If you believe in soul mates then Ford and Callie are just that but forces may just true and keep them apart again!

Cocky Jerk by Janine Infante Bosco
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cocky Jerk is a fast paced all round enjoyable book and a great addition to the Cocky Hero Family.
Antonia isn’t having a good day pulled over by a hunky by cocky policemen who not only gives her 1 ticket not even two but 3 which then makes her late for her new job with ‘Asked Ida’ – but if that isn’t bad enough hunky cop also is friends with her new boss Soraya.
Cocky Marco had a great morning giving not one but three tickets to mouthy Hot Harley biker riding Antonia what he wasn’t expecting was to meet her again so soon. The chemistry between the two is hot but when Marco finds out that Antonia’s dad is the President of an outlaw MC things are about to get really tricky. For Antonia the biker live has never been for her treated like a possession by her dad all she wants is a normal life and the more time she spends with Marco the more she wants that life even more – he is the first man to ever defended her honor or stood up for— but her dad isn’t going to be to happy when he finds out she is dating a cop!
This is going to be one hell of bumpy ride — so hold on tight and enjoy!
BESTSELLING BY BASTARD
Bestselling Bastard by Nicole Rodrigues
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘Bestselling Bastard’ has be the dirtiest and hottest of all the ‘Cocky Hero Club’ stories I have read so far — and I loved it! Get your fan’s out ladies you will need them!
What happen’s when you add two drunken new romantic authors one a hot male who has all the moves and one woman that although sweet on the outside has a dirty side when it comes to her story telling and they connect over the internet? They write a best selling hot romance book that has their readers and agents begging for more. Only trouble is they only seem to be able to write the hot scenes when they have had a couple of drinks.
Over the last year Jenna and Lorenzo have connected both on a profession and personnel level even though they have only spoken over FaceTime. Jenna is a private person she keeps to herself and is slightly broken inside believing that when she gets close to anyone they leave her. Lorenzo has never felt this connection to anyone before and when the opportunity arises for them to be together to write their next book he hopes this is the chance for them to see if they can be more than just co-writers.
Locked away the two of them are about to do real live research for their new steamy book but will that be enough to connivence Jenna that they are meant to be together!
Sexy Seaman by Paige Steele
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Paige Steele has written a lovely sexy feel good romance book that warms your heart.
Who would have thought a pair of neon green panties would be the star of the show but right from the beginning when Maci’s suitcase spills out on the dock and Reed picks them up — those panties appear in the most unusual places!
Although Reed is the CEO and owner of SS Yachts none of his employees on the charters know who he is — he is just the Captain. When Maci needs a few weeks to sort herself out and decided whether to go and work with her dad and brother or follow her heart into interior design she escapes as a member of Reeds crew — washing, ironing, serving food — as the rookie of the group it does take her sometime to get the hang of it. After the incident on the dock the first day she can’t stop thinking about the Captain of the boat — same for Reed for the feisty little rookie but he know’s he can’t do anything about as she is his employee.
For the next few weeks a game of cat and mouse begins — sometimes the cat is Reed doing the chasing and then sometimes he becomes the mouse. I loved how this story played out; the moments in the laundry room or even on deck as these two circle each other is brilliant.
But remember look out for the Neon Green Panties😜
Mister Dimples by Lindsay Becs
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I loved Mr Dimples – and there should be Juniper and a Mr Dimples everywhere.
Juniper isn’t your average girl ever since she knocked people over (more with laughter I think) 3 years ago with her great podcast where she commentated on a baseball game – with jems such as ”good job girls! Now go find some longer clothes; your butt is hanging out. But I like your clothes” “They look like a bunch of toddlers battling for the same toy right now. Is that normal?” cracked me up! She now has her own podcast and is known for her alternative take on sports fixtures the only rule is she mustn’t go to or know anything about the games she reports on. That is easy she isn’t into sport and her body is a temple to food. S
When Juniper was dog walking and bumps into NFL player Troy the man with the ‘Million-Dollar smile’ both their lives are about change. Troy likes the sassy Juniper and when they get the chance to do a fitness podcast together the sparks are about to fly.
But Juniper is weary about getting to close to Troy she hasn’t had the best of role models with her mom – she loves her but she is a free spirit and all her sisters have different dads so Juniper tries to keep her heart out of any relationships. Always promising herself that she wouldn’t relying on a man to take care of her and she could make it on her own. Troy will prove to her that she won’t loss who she is by sometimes relying on someone else that someone being him.
But it won’t easy for Troy AKA as ‘Mr Dimples’ AKA ‘Mr Muscles’ but he isn’t going to give up this girl who is perfect for him!
Get your tissues out not for crying with sadness but with laughter as you enter the world of Juniper and Troy
Tough Customer by Erin St. Charles
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘Tough Customer’ is a sassy and hot (let me just fan myself) story in the Cocky Hero Club.
This is the story of tough Samantha who after loosing her job over a guy has now set up her business and is finally doing OK she won’t get lead astray again.
Then she meets Lincoln in the dry cleaners and gets to work with him for weeks she keeps away but surly a little fun even if he is the forbidden fruit can’t hurt can it? Just one little taste.
Like Adam in the garden of Eden one taste isn’t going to be enough for Lincoln he just has to persuade Samantha to take a walk outside of the garden and join him. There is a lot of back and forth between the two as Samantha keeps going inside her head and thinking of all the reasons they shouldn’t be together rather than the positives.
A really nice addition to the Club!
Bitter Edge by Ariana Rose
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ariana Rose’s book set within the world of Ice Skating is a really nice twist on Hockey Romances. If you have read any of my reviews in the past you will know I am a die hard Hockey Romance fan.
I really enjoyed the use of an ex hockey player who’s career was cut shot by injury helping an up and coming Ice Skating Star get back on the Ice after a similar injury. The interplay between the young 21 Cierra and the slightly older hockey star Spencer was inspirational as he slowly brings Cierra out of her shell and makes her believe in herself as an athlete and a woman and the fact that she can get back on the Ice and compete in the Olympics.
The chemistry is of the chance between the two and although Spencer is still going through the pain of not being able to play the two in their own way help the other heal.
A really sweet read one for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Eligible Ex-husband by Marie Johnston
MY RATING – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A swoon worthy 2nd chance romance that had all the ingredients to bring a smile to my face and a satisfying sigh at the end.
Natalie and Simon were college sweethearts married out of college and have two little girls. Life at the start was good. Simon was busy building a business with the help of Natalie but when Simon’s brother died and left him his money the business took off and Simon’s sole focus was work and somewhere along the way he lost sight of what was important. The couple have been divorced for 8 months and co-parenting. When Simon needs to step in and help more with the family will the business still be his main focus or will he be the man that Natalie first married.
I loved how this story shows how easy it is for work to become your everything especially when your intentions are founded on the right reasons. And how even subtle littles changes over time if not addressed become big problems that sometimes there is no coming back from!
Only time will tell!
