My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Star Rating – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

‘Reckless Rebel’ OMG what a book what a story. I haven’t read anything as gut wrenching emotional charged in forever. T. C. Matson has put together one hell of a heartfelt pull at your heartstrings romance.

This story has gone straight to my no 1 spot in my Fav Fav reading shelve and must read of 2020. I suggest you keep a box of tissues handy you will need them.

Asher and Kinlyn have both had a tragic past; completely different tragedies but with the same result; one alway’s feeling not good enough even though they give it their all and one that still gets plague by darkness. Ash deals with his by not letting people in except for the kids from the programme where he volunteers. These kids come from all walks of live, broken homes, foster care and parents just struggling to make ends meet. Ash’s fav boys are Ollie 10 and teenager Cody ( I dare you not to fall in love with these boys).

Kinlyn has had enough of never feeling good enough when she finds out her boyfriend is cheating yet again she goes to confront him — but when her nerve leaves her a kiss by stranger outside the restaurant was just the inspiration she needed.

Ash can’t forget the kiss he gave the shy stranger and when their paths cross again he can’t believe his luck. But that is where the push and pull and the past starts to merge and before these two can have any future they need to open up to each other to the pain of their past — and while Kinlyn is at least trying Ash doesn’t seem to be able to let the past go.

But as a wish friend of Ash’s says:-

“Life without love isn’t a life worth living”
