Cocky Carpenter by Maggie Mundy
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I really liked this storyline – Autumn has gone through so much in a very short space of time, and if I had gone through half of which she has I too would have moved from England to Australia to help put myself back together. As a Doctor Autumn gets that chance and it will turn out to the best decision of her life – although Brett the Cocky Carpenter will take some getting used to; he says what he means and for Autumn that is just what she needs, someone who will stand up to her push her forward but be there to support her when she needs it!
Brett has family issues that he is dealing with as he gets closer to Autumn he does worry that these may get in the way of their budding relationship.
Just as everything starts to fall into place a darkness is looming you can feel it in the Australian Air.
This story is mixed with both humour and emotion and Maggie Mundy managed to balance this right.
The reason for my 3 star review is I did struggle in some places with this pair as a couple nothing I can put my finger on but I did enjoy it and a good addition to the Cocky Hero Series.
