Vaughn the 2nd book in the ‘Under the lights’ series was truly a marvellous read from start to finish.
We meet Allie as she is best friends with Morgan the heroine of the first book in the series ‘GAGE’. The two books sort of run parallel so it doesn’t matter which one you read first.
Vaughn and Allie meet on the Oscar red carpet as Vaughn the smooth golden boy interviewer is about to talk to Morgan as she is up for an award but as soon as he sees up and coming screen writer Allie he becomes tongue tied and can hardly string a sentence together -all through the ceremony in a room full stars he is drawn to this breath taking woman!
Orphaned earlier in his life and moved from one foster home to another Vaughn was taken in at 15 by James Ryerson the head of network and he is now being groomed to take over the network!
The two spend a wonderful few days together before Allie has her big screen writing debut in Chicago for 6 weeks!
Can these two make it work in Hollywood; a world full of gossip and half truths or will one secret and another surprise take away the fairy dust and sparkle that is Hollywood? Well…..you’re just have to read the book to find out!
