Scoring the Quarterback by S.M. Soto
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A wonderfully well written 2nd book in the San Diegan series! S M Soto is truly a beautiful writer
All Natalia wants to do is get though college and be able to finally say good bye to a family where she has never belonged; away from a Father who had an affair with her Mother and never had any intentions of leaving a family he already had. Bad luck for Natalia her mother died and she was sent to live with her other family and a step sister Gina who makes her life a misery.
Unfortunately for Natalia an SOS from her step-sister to pick her up from a fret party puts her in the path of Luck star quarter back for the college and no matter how much she tries to keep away from him fate keeps putting them together and the attraction they feel for each other keeps growing. After an unforgettable night together Natalia thinks she has found somebody that sees her for who she is – but the next day when she goes to see Luke she is confronted with her Gina leaving Lukes room and Luke does nothing to defend himself especially when he is sipping up his pants!
But things are not always what they seem and what Luke thought was the right thing to do suddenly doesn’t seem a good a deed as he thought; can Luke convince Natalia that they are meant to be together or will one silly action keep them apart for ever.
